STACKX / BUILD LAB
Shape it. Sequence it. Test the difference.
One wall layout. Your printer assumptions. Watch the original and optimized routes, then connect their operating costs to the whole-home decision.
Start with the home. Use the home designer to plan rooms for conventional framing, panels, modular construction or printed walls.
Open home designerThe starting geometry and machine settings are illustrative. Company selection supplies evidence; it does not supply a calibrated production rate.
GEOMETRY / MOVEMENT / TIME
Watch the route take shape.
The animation follows the calculated steps. Walls show one centerline pass per layer; thickness, openings above the first layer, reinforcement, collisions and curing are not resolved by this study.
Find a better wall order.
Keep phases, station assignments and the printed geometry fixed. Test direction and ordering to reduce modeled process time.
01 / GEOMETRY
Edit the wall layout.
Up to 24 straight segments and 500 layers. Endpoints and gaps repeat on every layer. Divide a wall into segments to model gaps or station assignments; the study does not design window headers or wall assemblies.
02 / MACHINE + EVIDENCE
Configure the printing scenario.

The nozzle starts at station 1. A station move uses the entered allowance, then starts travel from the new station center. No terrain, collision or relocation plan is certified.

An improvement is against your entered order, not a competitor benchmark. Printing length and material scope remain fixed. No full-project completion saving is inferred.
03 / OPERATING ECONOMICS
Connect process time to cost.
These hourly rates apply across modeled printing, travel, restart, layer-change and reposition time for one home. Add other crew and variable costs separately. Enter zero only when intentionally excluded or included elsewhere.
Enable the connection to use the calculated values in Print economics. Full-project months, hired quotes, material quantities and equipment capital remain separately entered. A shorter printing route does not automatically shorten the project.
METHOD / LIMITS
What Optimize actually changes.
The original route follows your listed segments within each required phase. The optimizer tests nearest-endpoint sequences and segment reversals, retaining a result only when its modeled time improves. It preserves each segment exactly once per layer, phase order and the assigned station. It does not guarantee the global shortest route.
Connected endpoints can continue without a new restart allowance. Every layer begins a new extrusion start. The model repeats the same route across layers, including travel back from the previous layer's endpoint. The final layer is capped at the entered wall height.
Acceleration, extrusion transitions, pump pressure, material setting, reinforcement, vertical reach, collisions, ground conditions and engineered wall paths require additional constraints and validation. This is a planning study; it does not export commands to a printer.
Your project inputs stay in this browser unless you explicitly export or share them. Public source requests do not include your budgets.
